Tomatoes, Everywhere
'Tis the season to question our sanity for sticking with this farming thing - the dreaded 3 week tomato plant invasion. We have every greenhouse packed with the little monsters, and I will have to admit they are beautiful this year.
We still have the old favorites - German Johnson, Cherokee, Eva Purple Ball, Rutgers etc., and have added Roma, some yellow varieties and a wider variety of cherry types. We will have herbs again this year - basil, thyme, mint, oregano, rosemary, lemon balm, parsley and even some catnip for fluffy.
Plans still are to be at the new Chatham Mills Market in Pittsboro on Saturdays from 8 - 12, and the Piedmont Triad Farmers' Market Thursday - Sunday from 8 - 6, April 14 - May 1.
See you there!
